Changing colors in WP Royal is simple thanks to Global Styles.
Instead of changing colors one by one on every page, you can update them once — and they will apply across your entire website.
Step 1: Open Global Styles #
- Go to Appearance → Editor
- Click the Styles icon (half black / half white circle) in the top-right corner
- Click Edit Styles
- Select Colors
You are now inside the color settings.
Option 1: Use the Predefined Color Palette #
WP Royal comes with a predefined color palette designed for clean blog and magazine layouts.
This palette ensures:
- Proper contrast
- Good readability
- Professional design balance
- Consistent branding
You can simply select from the available theme colors when customizing:
- Text color
- Background color
- Link color
- Button color
- Heading color
This is the safest option if you’re unsure about design combinations.
Option 2: Customize the Existing Color Palette #
If you want to match your own brand, you can edit the existing palette.
Inside Colors, you can:
- Click on the current color swatch
- Adjust using the color picker
- Enter a HEX code (example: #1A73E8)
- Replace existing theme colors
Once you change a palette color, all elements using that color will update automatically.
For example:
If your primary color changes from blue to green, all buttons, links, and accents using that primary color will update instantly.
Where Colors Can Be Modified #
Inside Global Styles → Colors, you can change:

You can also customize colors for individual blocks like:
